Shane - Owner and Artist
Shane opened Infidels Ink here in Ocala, FL in 2020, and his 2nd location in Gainesville, FL in 2023.
He grew up as a kid in Ocala, and
was born in Carthage, NC.
He's an avid outdoorsman who enjoys nature, but his greatest adventure, is fatherhood.
His artistic abilities paved the path into drawing, 3-D modeling/texturing and video game design.
He made the choice to join the Army as a paratrooper
and jumped right in with the A-Co 2-325 Airborne Infantry Regiment 82nd Airborne, completing 2 tours in Iraq .
Completing an apprenticeship in 2011, he dove head 1st into the tattoo industry making a name for himself.
Shane specializes in realistic black and grey tattoos,
his main passion and expertise is in coverup tattoos..
Yordis - Tattoo Artist
He joined Infidels Ink Tattoo shop in Ocala, FL back in 2022. Yordis grew up in Cuba as an active kid.
He's always had a skill in drawing and creating new pieces, and decided to do something with them.
He is a big fan of making a statement using vibrant, bright and bold coloring.
Yordis specializes in all things Anime but also enjoys working on other unique pieces.
Paul- Tattoo Artist
Paul grew up in the Ocala area where he graduated from North Marion High School class of ‘09.
He enlisted into the army, active duty the same year as an airborne infantryman where he completed his basic training, airborne training and was sent to the 101st airborne, air assault. Paul was deployed again to South Korea where he gained the rank of Sgt.
After receiving an honorable discharge from the army Paul took up tattooing during the pandemic and started a family.
He specializes in Neo-Traditional, American traditional, surrealism, and clean line art.

We are doing interviews of all interested applicants from October 31st until December 22, 2023, from 1-6pm, Tuesday – Saturday.

NEED TO KNOW:
Show up with your art portfolio in hand or have a prepared portfolio on Instagram that we can easily view.
*This is not an easy position and is not for the faint of heart. For those who want it bad enough, it is worth it.
*This position is not paid. You are paid in knowledge and training for your service to the shop’s functions. Many shops usually charge a fee for apprenticeships. We don’t. But if you have bills, you will have to hold a second or even third job at times (learn a side hustle).
*Your loved ones will forget what you look like. Be prepared to sacrifice a huge amount of your time and life to the pursuit of this profession. You will be gone all day every day to work your apprenticeship and your money job.
*Apprenticeships last on average 1-3 years depending on your ability to learn, and your natural talents.
*Everyone will be given the same opportunity to apply. Zero favoritism will be shown to friends and family.
New faces are definitely encouraged.
*Must be 18 and up to apply!
